Overcoming Industry Challenges

In June 2025, the company was granted the invention patent titled "A Ball Valve Wear Resistance Testing Device and Its Application Method", with the Granted Publication No. CN119804100B and filing date March 2025. Targeting the sealing surface wear of ball valves during long-term service, the patent discloses a testing device integrating high-precision sensing and automatic control. Featuring a simple and efficient operating procedure, it can simulate wear processes under various working conditions to realize rapid and accurate evaluation of ball valve wear resistance.

The acquisition of this patent not only raises the company’s technical barrier in the field of valve testing, but also demonstrates its continuous innovation capability in high-end equipment manufacturing and inspection technology. It lays a solid intellectual property foundation for subsequent product upgrading and market expansion.

Floauto (Shanghai) Control Valve Co., Ltd. has successfully developed the FLOWDISC 830 Series all-metal hard-seated triple-offset butterfly valve relying on a mathematical model system with fully independent intellectual property rights. Compared with similar butterfly valves or those with multi-layer structures in the industry, this product delivers outstanding differentiated advantages: throughout the full stroke of valve opening and closing, the disc only makes slight contact and friction with the seat at the fully closed position (most butterfly valves suffer heavy friction during the entire opening/closing travel), which greatly reduces operating torque.
